"My shot was crappy because it's a crappy camera. With a new digital camera my crappy pictures will be great. I know it's the camera because I'm a great photographer. Where's that new camera test? I'll order the new digital camera today."
Yeah, Right. Dream on.
Surprise! It's the photographer, not the camera, that takes the picture. If you take terrible shots now with your old camera, switching to digital will just get you the same terrible shots and a thinner wallet.
